Clean Cloud
Delivering an environmentally-friendly customer success platform
Zertic’s multi-tenant cloud computing model has a much smaller environmental footprint than traditional IT hardware and software. By sharing computing resources among a large number of customers, we achieve enormous economies of scale, especially when it comes to carbon and energy consumption. We deliver our customers a completely carbon-neutral cloud by offsetting the emissions (Scope 1, 2, and 3) we cannot reduce through multi-tenancy and other operational sustainability initiatives. These offsets cover everything from manufacturing servers, to data center operations, to the impact of our customers using Zertic on their personal devices.
In addition to focusing on operational excellence, we believe the cloud should be powered by clean sources of energy. We’re also working to achieve 100% renewable energy for our global operations.
What we can do together
Protecting our planet must be a priority for every business, government, and individual. We encourage companies of all sizes and industries to join us by making their organizations a platform for change. Here’s how some of our customers are taking action:
TÜV SÜD's climate change measures
TÜV SÜD’s climate change measures include internal sustainability goals and a wide range of services to help other companies decarbonize. Internally, they are committed to reducing their own emissions by 42% by 2030 (Scopes 1 and 2) and reaching net-zero across their value chain by 2050. For their customers, they offer solutions through services like carbon management, energy efficiency, green energy, and circular economy initiatives, which are guided by the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
ABS Group's climate change measures
ABS Group’s climate change measures include both internal strategies and external services to clients, such as developing greenhouse gas (GHG) inventories, verifying emissions reports, and providing engineering solutions for carbon reduction in industries like real estate and shipping. The company also conducts risk assessments for climate impacts and offers support for projects like solar power facilities by evaluating their vulnerability to natural hazards. Internally, ABS Group focuses on its own sustainability by reducing its own energy consumption and carbon emissions.
