How Asian Kidz Support originated
We have been traveling through Asia for years, which has an enormous attraction for us. A journey through Asia means a constant challenge for all senses, an immersion of smells, colors and sounds! But also, every time after returning, we have to deal with an increasingly stronger feeling. A feeling to mean something to underprivileged children. The image of the many children who have no opportunity to build a decent life keeps us busy.
But what can we do?
We are also fully aware that children can best grow up in their own culture and the only way to help us with financial support from a relief project. A first step was made in November 2008 for Asian Kidz Support. Feeding baby After a long preparation and passionate enthusiasm, we left in November 2008 to put words into action. And there you are, in an orphanage somewhere in South-East Asia, because of our various activities there we have seen a lot and had contact with the children who stay there. All this has made a big impression on us and a realization that help is and will remain desperately needed. Once we got home, we decided to turn Asian Kidz Support into a foundation to continue to lend a helping hand. Children all over the world should have the same rights and opportunities, but that is not as obvious as it seems. We feel very involved with these children and hope to be able to mean a lot to them in the future.
